How do I determine what the right hockey stick is for me?
We understand that choosing the right hockey stick is very important. GOAT Hockey offers the right stick for every player. What is the right stick for you depends on two elements; the carbon percentage and the curvature.
The carbon percentage of your stick
Carbon makes a hockey stick stiffer, so you have more power and can hit or flatten harder with it. The material also has a strong responsiveness: this way you can dribble faster and optimally enjoy modern 3D hockey. However, there is also a weak point here. Because the material reacts faster, you will also be punished faster for a wrong move. For example, you have less ball feeling when dribbling and the ball jumps off your stick faster when you take it. This means that a good stop/stroke technique is required with a high percentage of carbon (80% or higher).
In brief; as the percentage of carbon increases, more is expected of your technique as a player.
The curvature
With the right choice of a curvature, you can ensure that you approach your own game even more as a player. Each stick has a slight curve, the 'bow'. The stronger the curvature, the more technique is expected from you. GOAT Hockey offers sticks in three categories.
GOAT LOWBOW
This curvature allows you to push a little harder and flatten more powerfully. The backhand also becomes a bit easier, because the curl scrapes less on the ground.
GOAT PROBOW
The ProBow is suitable for the experienced hockey player who has mastered the game and wants to get the most out of it. When you look at the stick, it really seems to have an angle in it. This angle – or curvature – stops the ball during the drag push, allowing you to make a longer swing. This generates more power and the ball will be placed better. While dribbling, the curve falls around the ball, giving you an explosive and dynamic dribble. Moreover, you can easily whip up the ball. With a backhand stroke, the curl is always completely off the ground, creating less resistance and you can go for an even more powerful stroke. Many advantages, but you also have to take into account lesser sides. The curvature can cause a loss of control during the reception, causing the ball to bounce up faster.
If you are technically strong enough and you can keep control over this, then this curvature has a lot to offer you!
GOAT ULTRABOW
This variant has the same properties as the ProBow, but just a little more extreme. In recent years, “3D hockey” has made its breakthrough and the UltraBow curvature is the answer to that. Flipping the ball, dribbling, driving the opponent crazy: if your technique supports it, it has never been easier and more fun. If you are this type of hockey player, you can get everything out of it with this curvature. Not only challenging the opponent, but also yourself.

I don't live in the Netherlands but want to place an order, is that possible?
That's possible! Right now, we support shipment to: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, and Uruguay .
If you live in another country, your best bet is to contact our customer service so we can look at the possibility of shipping to your country and at what costs. We always send you a link to trace your package, the responsibility of the shipment in ours. The package will normally be delivered within 2-6 days.
Delivery
When do I receive my order?
The status of your order can be checked with the Track & Trace code that you receive in the shipping email. Depending on the size of your order, there may be costs involved.
These shipping costs are shown when choosing the shipping method and before placing your order. If you pay online and your order is placed on Mon-Fri before 3:00 PM , it can be shipped the same day. Then select fast delivery from our shipping methods. Would you rather pay no - or less - shipping costs? Then choose our standard delivery.
Return
How do I return my items?
If you decide within 14 days of receiving your order that you do not want the product, you can return it to us.
To do this, please contact our customer service by telephone on +31(0)6-24757660. They will help you with the return procedure and explain the conditions in detail.
Please note that returns will only be accepted if the original packaging and contents including the product label are undamaged. The costs for a return shipment must be paid by the buyer.
When you receive your order, you must immediately check the product for visible defects. In case of defects (visible or invisible) you must contact customer service. They will further explain the return procedure and the applicable conditions to you. They will confirm this by email.
Please enclose a printout of the email in which our customer service confirms the return of your package. This way everything can be handled by GOAT Hockey.
We recommend that you keep the proof of postage for your own records. In case of breakage or incorrectly delivered products, you can choose to be refunded to your credit card or bank account or you can still receive the original product. In case of breakage, we will only do this if the breakage is reported on the next working day after receipt. We therefore expect you to check your package for any damage immediately upon receipt. Resending the product is only possible if the product is in stock.Adjustments to the amount to be paid or the refund of the amount already paid is done as follows:
- iDeal : within a week after receipt of your return, the money will be deposited into your account.
- Credit card : within 7 days of receiving your return, the money will be automatically refunded to your credit card.
Shipping costs for returning incorrectly ordered products, sizes, colors, etc. are at the expense of the customer.

Complaints
I have a complaint, what can I do?
We do our utmost to deliver your order to your satisfaction. However, it may happen that you have a complaint about an order or item. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will then handle your complaint as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receipt. If the resolution of your complaint takes longer than 14 days, you will in any case receive a message about this within 14 days.
